Her Story

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Rita-Ashley Cunningham has always had a love for culinary arts and the sweeter things in life. At the age of 17, Rita-Ashley decided she would begin baking and selling her own cupcakes to students at her high school. This continued through college where Rita-Ashley continued her baking efforts at the illustrious Clark Atlanta University. A effort that started out as selling cupcakes for her pageant, turned into a booming campus business! Once her peers found out about her hidden craft she became a hot commodity; selling around the residential halls, community service events, and eventually the city of Atlanta. Today, Cupcakes By Ritaa is a household name that delightfully serves more than hundreds per day. Rita-Ashley "values creating a unique and individualized experience for each customer when they invest in my treats." This creates an outstanding customer journey from the moment you place your order to the second your treats are delivered.  

Cupcakes by Ritaa is independently owned and operated, ensuring quality products. While rapidly growing in Atlanta daily, Cupcakes by Ritaa has plans for continued expansion.
